Genting Highlands 11-13 December 2006
First World Hotel Standard Room sucks.
- No fridge.
- No hairdryer.
- No free toothbrush, toothpaste nor body foam and shampoo.
- The shower head is attached to the wall.
- Look out the window ... at the opposite block and see windows!
- You can hear what the other room occupants are saying if they choose to talk loudly.
- You hear voices being echoed and bounced off the walls.
- The hotel lobby is too crowded.
No more First World Hotel! At the very least, get a room with View. It will cost a little more, but it's worth every cent to see the clouds. I would go for Genting or Highlands Hotel the next time, even if they are further from First World Plaza and cost more.
2 nights, twin room = $87
707 coach = $63 per pax x 2 = $126
Therefore, accommodation + transport = $213
Food + shopping + rides = about $200
Casino loss = scary!
Total (excluding casino donation) = $413
